Prepare to work safely in the construction industry.

CPCWHS1001 — Prepare to work safely in the construction industry gives you the foundational construction workplace health and safety knowledge needed to enter or keep working in the industry. You'll cover identifying hazards, controlling risks, safe work practices, emergency procedures and communicating safely on site.

Commonly known as White Card training, CPCWHS1001 is designed for people who need the required construction safety training before working on construction sites. No prior experience is required.

ACTA College is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 40954) and delivers this unit as nationally recognised training.

Photo ID

Government-issued photo ID (driver licence, passport or proof-of-age card) is required to verify your identity.

USI

A Unique Student Identifier is required for nationally recognised training. Our team can help you create one.

What to Bring

Photo ID, USI, notepad, pen and enclosed footwear. Comfortable clothing is fine.

Assessment

Assessment runs through the day and includes written knowledge questions and practical activities.
